The aims of this project are to show the different origins and philosophies of National Parks in the Anglosphere, defined as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States. Each page on this site will look at the origins of each national park system, who influenced their creation, what conservation philosophies they adhere to, and how they are funded. Because this is a project for an American audience, I will compare the other national parks to the system in the United States, and to a lesser extent, to each other. As of now, only Canada, the United Kingdom, and United States are populated, Australia and New Zealand will be removed.
